Hey everyone.  Just to let you know, the FTC requires us bloggers to provide disclosures whenever there could be unspoken bias and/or hidden interestes related to recommendations.  For example, if I went to interview a flight instructor at an airport, and they bought me a soda, I would be required by law to specify this in every post/page/link I mention it. 

As you can imagine, this would get very tedious and time consuming on my end, and it would be an eyesore for you, the reader. 

What’s important for you to know is that the motives behind this site were never primarily financially driven.  I created it to share my experience, knowledge, and resources related to the private pilot license process with all of you and to build a community of student pilots. 

Will I make commissions on some of my recommendations and reviews?  Yes.  Heck, I may even make enough for a “$100 hamburger” (a flight) or so. 

So, in order for me to focus more on providing great resources for you and less on covering my own hiney with the FTC, just please assume that, for every recommendation, link, and product I use, the following all hold true:
